Wait for aircraft to appear.
When the page is loaded, aircraft should appear within 10-20 seconds at most. Then they are refreshed with the same rate, depending on our website bandwidth.
Click on aircraft
When clicking on an aircraft, the
INFO tab displays all latest information we have for this aircraft, and its path is displayed on the map.
Customize Information Layers
The
LAYERS tab allows you to modify the label displayed for each aircraft, and to display/hide airports and weather information.
Filter aircraft
The
FILTER tab allows you to filter aircraft.
Most aircraft parameters, such as speed, altitude or identification codes, can be filtered. Check the
FILTER tab and try the example filters to understand how it works.
Other things you must know :
-
all information we display are LIVE, with no delay.
- each aircraft is visible on the map at least 4 minutes. If ever we get no update from an aircraft for more than 4 minutes, we do not display it anymore.
- all aircraft paths cover at most 30 minutes.
- the number of aircraft can fluctuate quite a lot sometimes because of multiple aircraft suddenly going out of our coverage.
- All these values (refresh rate, 4 minutes old latest information, 30-minutes path...) are linked to performance/technical issues and we will keep improving them.
- For the best viewing experience, we strongly recommend to use Firefox, Chrome and Safari. If you notice bad performance issues using Internet Explorer (or popups), please try using another browser.
Our map is open to anyone. We welcome anyone willing to contribute to our project, private persons or professionals.

What we require is just for contributers to buy an ADS-B receiver, and make data it receives available to us.

Our goal is to make available online the largest real-time aircraft traffic coverage - Laurent Duval President radarviruel.
Why
We believe that this information can be useful for various needs (locating an aircraft for personal or business purposes, computing statistics), and notably it can lead to a better public understanding of what happens above our heads.
What we are trying to do is simply display on the web some data that is already available, and make it easy to interpret.
Our intent is not to disclose some confidential information, and we will not try to go this way.
How
Our system is based on a network of contributers (private persons, companies) owning an ADS-B receiver and willing to share their data with us, and a network of autonomous stations ADS-B belong to us.
In exchange, we make their data available online to anyone, and we will develop advanced services for them to analyze aircraft traffic.
See CONTRIBUTE section for more information.
